Pro-Line Particulate Filter Dpf 500 Ml Liqui Moly

EAN Code: 02928 Manufacturer code: 5171Categories:

Description

Pro-Line diesel particulate filter rinsing solution used after cleaning diesel particulate filters with the special cleaning solution (Liqui Moly code 5169). The deposit particles are dissolved and distributed into the particulate filter, where they can then be burned in a normal regeneration cycle. Vehicles that travel short distances are most affected by diesel particulate filter blockage, which means that filter cleaning intervals using the solution are highly dependent on vehicle use. Operating costs can be reduced by regular cleaning. The costly particulate filter replacement solution is no longer necessary.

Properties

- optimal engine performance

- guarantees low fuel consumption

- dissolves soot

- reduce operating costs

Field of use:

For all closed diesel particulate filters in commercial vehicles.

How to use:

Cleaning is done using a DPF air gun and a spray probe. Access to the diesel particulate filter is made according to the vehicle type. For this purpose, the particulate filter temperature or pressure sensor must be disconnected (removed) in most vehicles.

Note: When cleaning, the filter temperature should be below 40 °C. On some vehicles the diesel particulate filter is located near the exhaust manifold or, optionally, turbocharger, and not under the vehicle body. For safety reasons, special care should be taken when cleaning such vehicles - otherwise it is possible that the cleaning solution or washer fluid may enter the combustion chamber through an open exhaust valve. Depending on the type of vehicle, insert the appropriate rod (straight or bent) into the particulate filter through the hole created by removing the sensor. Fill the spray gun container with the diesel particulate filter cleaning solution (1 liter) and spray it directly onto the surface of the particulate filter in bursts of 5 to 10 seconds (with a 5 to 10 second break) at an operating pressure of 6 to 8 bar. The probe shall be rotated and moved back and forth during cleaning to cover as much of the filter surface as possible.

The filter is then rinsed with the special solution in the same way as the cleaning (application/pause of about 5-10 sec). The sensor is then reinstalled and the vehicle manufacturers' instructions for regenerating diesel particulate filters are followed.
